Well since our last newsletter, the wet conditions and almost constant heavy rain has been causing havoc for most of those in agriculture and we have the worst spring conditions recorded with flooded fields from burst rivers and dykes or standing water from just too much rain.

Can we be optimismtic of an early, dry Spring? The official day of Spring is the 20th March, so we have some time yet to get to that point, but the nights are drawing out and trees are budding up, summoning some progress towards springtime.

Our John Deere 6155M was in the limelight recently when used as a promotion for N8 Agrifood outside the Principle Hotel in York for N8 Celebrating N8 Agrifood who are based at York University. The N8 AgriFood team combines strong academic research in agri-food resilience and sustainability across the natural and social sciences with professional research management and business development support. N8 AgriFood is a unique programme working across the entire food system, combining expertise from the 8 most research intensive universities in the North of England: Durham, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and York. We were delighted to be able to help them with their promotion for the conference which will be held on the 22nd and 23rd at The Principle Hotel, York.

Last week we undertook a journey out of Yorkshire south to visit our southern customers. Despite the Brexit and the uncertainty ahead, but whilst the politicians endlessly discuss and vote on what they see as the most favourable outcome it is really refreshing to see the agriculture industry continuing as normal and with great enthusiasm.
